Ever had a dream similar?

I think we've all had a similar dream like this one before.... It's another one that is slightly dark in nature.

Your mother rolls up a hill in your father's big blue truck. Your younger sibling who is just a baby, is buckled in the back seat in a car seat. Your mother stops the car and smiles at you before getting out of the car.


Your younger sibling giggles and laughs as you unbuckle your seat belt and shift to the driver seat so you can make the toddler smile. In no time at all you both are laughing hard and enjoying yourself. Trying to catch your breath you turn and slump into the driver's seat, rubbing your fingers against the black and white carpeting on the seats.


"Beep-beep!" Your younger sibling giggles out.


You grin and jerk the steering wheel a little, while making driving noises. You aren't worried about your mom catching you in the driver's seat, she's out talking to a friend, and she can talk for hours!


Suddenly, the whole truck jerks forward, making you bump your head against the steering wheel. You recoil, rubbing your forehead but strangely enough you don't feel any pain. Confused, you glance back down at the dark blue steering wheel. The object remains stationary, looking almost innocent as you replace your hands back on the wheel.


Only a few seconds after you do this, does the truck start rolling backwards. You panic, but somehow manage to grab the stick shifter and shove the vechile out of park and into drive.


You can hear your younger sibling screaming as you slam on the gas, despretaly trying to get the truck to stop moving backwards.... But it doesn't...

By now you are crying and you turn trying to see exactly what is behind you, your younger sibling still screaming in fear.


The only thing you see is a large brick wall. With dark, rust colored blocks, getting larger as you approach. Your breath seems to catch in your throat at the sudden realization as you stare silently in terror at what surely is your end...



....And you wake up....

I don't always have terrifying dreams but this was one of my more vivid nightmares.
So have any of you ever had a similar dream? Or maybe a falling dream?
